The Robinson R44 type rating qualifies you to fly the R44 helicopter as pilot in command.

The training consists of nine hours of classroom instruction and five hours of flight training on an R44 helicopter.

During the training, participants will acquire theoretical and practical knowledge for flying the R44 helicopter. The flight training component includes practice in various maneuvers, such as level flight, circling, landing, and takeoff. Special emphasis is placed on handling emergencies and special situations.
