The EC135 type instructor training qualifies the holder to serve as an instructor on the EC135 multi-engine helicopter for single-pilot crew training.

The training consists of 50 hours of classroom instruction, during which participants learn teaching methodologies and complete in-depth technical training on the EC135/635 helicopter. In addition, participants must complete five hours of flight training on an EC135 helicopter or three hours of flight training on a simulator of the corresponding type and two hours of flight training on an EC135 helicopter.

During the training, participants will acquire the theoretical and practical knowledge required to conduct pilot training on the EC135 helicopter. During flight training, participants practice teaching methodologies for various maneuvers, such as how to instruct and conduct exercises in level flight, circling, landing, and takeoff. Special emphasis is placed on training for handling emergency and special situations.
