1. Definitions and Abbreviations

- Private lessons – The training is conducted based on an individualized curriculum tailored to the learner’s needs
- Practical training – applying acquired knowledge and skills in the learning environment
- Contact learning – instruction taking place in a classroom or online learning environment in which both students and faculty participate simultaneously, e.g., lectures, seminars, tutorials, and office hours
- Distance learning – a form of learning in which students study independently within a specific learning environment
- Practical device – an aircraft or other device used for practical training

2. General Provisions
The pilot school’s continuing education programs are based on legislation governing adult education, the flight operations manual, and other regulations specific to the training in question.
The training is conducted in accordance with the training program approved by the Training Manager and TRAM.
Instruction is conducted in the form of courses. The course load is specified in the training manual or training program. The duration of theory classes and practical training is measured in astronomical hours (1 hour equals 60 minutes).
Depending on the course, either in-person or distance learning is used. Practical work is always conducted in-person.
Depending on the course and the number of students, classes may be held either in groups or on an individual basis.
If a student fails to comply with the internal regulations of the ATO flight school, a school representative has the right to remove the student from the training program.
3. Student Status, Rights, and Responsibilities
A student is considered a course participant based on the student’s application and the decision of the training director or the person in charge.
A student has the right to:
- review the training program for the relevant course
- receive instruction in accordance with the current training program
- receive information regarding the content and organization of the training
- receive the designated training materials
- receive a certificate upon successful completion of the training
- receive a certificate of partial completion of the course if the student is unable to complete the course in its entirety or submits a written request to discontinue the course
The student is required to:
- confirm with your signature on the course registration form that you have read the internal regulations
- comply with the requirements of the Ministry of Transport and Communications and the training program, the requirements of the simulator manual, the flight school’s internal regulations, occupational health and safety guidelines, and fire safety guidelines
- act in accordance with the rules and/or instructions from school staff in an emergency
- keep the educational materials and safety equipment at his or her disposal in good condition
- attend the training for at least the minimum duration specified for the course
- immediately notify the instructor or the flight school’s training manager of any circumstances that interfere with instruction
- notify us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend, will be absent, or need to withdraw from the training
- fill out the training feedback form
- to behave in accordance with generally accepted standards of morality
4. Admission Procedures
To enroll in a course, you must register in advance by submitting an enrollment application via email (info@piloodikool.ee) or at Sepise 1, Tallinn.
Requests to register for a course are generally responded to by email or phone within one week at the latest.
A trainee who fails to arrive on time for the training session may be removed from the list of participants by the training provider.

All candidates who meet the course requirements and have paid the course fee are eligible to enroll in paid courses.
5. Course Payment and Refund Policy
Payment for the course is made upon receipt of an invoice. The invoice will be sent by email.
The portion of the course fee covering the theoretical training must be paid before the course begins. The portion of the course fee covering the flight training must be paid at least once a month, based on the actual amount of training completed. The student is responsible for paying the invoice by the due date indicated on the invoice.
If the invoice is not paid by the due date, the school reserves the right to deny the student admission to the course.
If the payment deadline is missed and despite reminders, the school has the right to initiate expedited payment order proceedings.
Individual students enrolled in a pilot school’s ATO training program are entitled to claim the tuition fees paid for the training as an educational expense on their income tax return, in accordance with §26 of the Income Tax Act.
Tuition fees for a registered and paid-for course will be refunded only if the course is canceled by the Pilot School ATO or if the course is interrupted due to reasons attributable to the Pilot School ATO, in an amount corresponding to the portion of the course not completed, as agreed upon.
6. Withdrawal from or discontinuation of the course
If you withdraw from the course after registering, you must notify Piloodikool ATO by email or by mail at Sepise 1, Tallinn.
A student who wishes to withdraw from the course must notify the Pilot School ATO of this as soon as possible by email or phone.
7. Procedures for Dismissal from a Course
The course instructor may remove a student from the course in the following cases:
- absence from training
- inappropriate behavior
- failure to pay for the course
- Failure to comply with OM and training program requirements
8. Course Completion
The requirements for completing the course are set forth in the training program. A certificate will be issued to learners who have achieved the learning outcomes and passed the assessment.
Students who have withdrawn from the course will be issued, upon request, a certificate of course completion and a summary of their flight training.
9. Dispute Resolution Procedure
Complaints must be submitted in writing to the Training Manager via email or by mail to Sepise 1, Tallinn.
Suggestions and complaints for which a response is requested must be submitted in writing only.
All written suggestions and complaints will be responded to within a reasonable time, but no later than 15 days after the suggestion or complaint is registered. Suggestions and complaints are handled by the Pilot School ATO Training Manager in consultation with the relevant parties.
All written complaints and safety reports are recorded. Anonymous suggestions and complaints are not recorded.
Disputes that cannot be resolved through negotiation shall be resolved in accordance with the procedures prescribed by law.
10. Ensuring the Quality of Continuing Education Courses
Continuing education courses are designed in accordance with TRAM, EASA, and other national and international requirements.

11. Ensuring the Quality of Trainers
The course may be taught by specialists with the appropriate professional education and work experience who are authorized to teach the course.
The course instructor is required to possess the necessary qualifications to teach the course.
The feedback provided by course participants is taken into account when evaluating the instructor’s/teacher’s competence.
12. Ensuring the Quality of the Learning Environment
Classes are held in classrooms equipped with furniture suitable for adult learners and modern presentation technology.
Practical training is conducted using the appropriate simulation equipment or an aircraft equipped with the necessary equipment.
All rooms, teaching equipment, and materials comply with occupational health and safety requirements.
13. Procedure for Collecting Training Feedback
Based on the feedback received during the training, changes will be made to the training program as necessary to ensure the high quality of the learning process and customer satisfaction.
At the end of the course, participants will provide informal feedback on the organization, content, and instructors of the training, either electronically or on paper.
Based on feedback, the ATO training manager at Piloodikool analyzes the training program in consultation with the head of ground instruction and the head of flight training; where necessary, adjustments or improvements are made to the training program to ensure high-quality training, an effective learning process, and customer satisfaction.
