The AS350/EC130 type rating entitles the holder to fly the AS350/EC130 helicopter type as a pilot-in-command.

The training consists of 21 hours of classroom instruction and 5 hours of flight training on an AS350/EC130 helicopter.

During the training, participants will acquire theoretical and practical knowledge for flying the AS350/EC130 helicopter type. The flight training component includes practice in various maneuvers during level flight, circling, landing, and takeoff. Special emphasis is placed on handling emergency and special situations.
